She was named the winner of the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage in the category «Dedicated Service».

The book «Reflections» by Jonathan Kimelfeld was issued by the «Gallea Print» publishing house. Many times Jonathan Kimelfeld has been the winner of competitions for young journalists. He is one of the youngest writers in the world, a member of the International Association of writers and publicists. The author of illustrations for the book was Gregory Missura, the winner and laureate of many art exhibitions. Their creative alliance was formed during their joint work in the magazine «Culture and time», issued by the International Centre of the Roerichs. The presentation of the final volume of the complete set of letters by H. Roerich from the archives of the International Centre of the Roerichs and the presentation of the International prize by the name of H. Roerich for the year 2009 took place on the ceremony on the occasion of Helena Roerich's Birthday.

A seminar held in the United Scientific Centre for Cosmic Mentality Problems as a part of a panel Children of New Consciousness was devoted to the hypothesis The World of Pulsating Universes by Andrei Hlopin, 13. The same day Andrei was awarded a fellowship certificate of the Helena Roerich Charitable Foundation.

An awarding ceremony of the 7th Moscow open competition for young journalists A Step to Success was held in a big conference hall of the Moscow Government on October 27, 2009. The Grand Prix in the nomination Why Does the Mirror of the Soul Pale? was awarded to Jonathan Kimelfeld, a fellow of the Helena Roerich Charitable Foundation, for his story The Destruction Road. On the ceremony Kimelfeld received the Order of Young talent of Russia – the Charoite star, the highest public award of the Russian Herald’s College. We sincerely congratulate Jonathan on just rewards!

In May 2009 two young writers Lev Bondarev and Johnathan Kimelfeld, scholars of the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich , were accepted to the Authors and Publicists International Association. Participation in this public organization which has representatives in 34 countries is a sign of high professional, cultural and moral level of the young talents. The Association certificates were presented to the writers by Ludmila V. Shaposhnikova, the President of the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich. The stuff of the Foundation congratulates whole-heartedly L. Bondarev and J. Kimelfeld with this special event and wishes them luck and bright, happy creative future.

On April 30, a performance of Luka Okrostsvaridze, a laureate of many international festivals and competitions, scholar of the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich, will take place in the Museum by name of Nicholas Roerich (Moscow). Throughout the evening composotions by Chopin, Schuhmann, Rakchmaninov will be played by L. Okrostsvaridze (piano) and N. Arutyunyan (clarinet).

On March 24 a presentation of the International scientific Prize by name of Helena Roerich for 2008 took place in the Museum by name of Nicholas Roerih. The Prize, instituted by the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich for the best scientific research in the philosophy of the Living Ethics, was presented for the first time. Scientists from 3 countries competed for the prize, including 2 doctors of science and 5 candidates of science. The Prize fund was 5000 Euros in rubles. The sponsor of the prize was the Charitable Foundation of social programs "ÈÔÄ ÊàïèòàëÚ".

26-28 November, 2008, the State Tretyakov Gallery held the XIV Scientific Conference titled Expert Assessment and Attribution of Works of Fine, Decorative and Applied Arts. The conference was attended by experts, collectors, and representatives of the largest museums of Russia and the neighboring countries. The International Center of the Roerichs participated in a session of poster presentations organized at the conference. The session opened with a report On the Trustworthiness of Provenance in Assessment and Attribution of Works of Fine Art (with Examples of Provenances by Christie’s and Sotheby’s Auction Houses of Nicholas Roerich’s Paintings) delivered by Galina V. Daruze who is heading the Department of the Works of Fine Art, Memorial Belongings and Artifacts Reserve at the non-governmental Museum by mane of Nicholas Roerich.
