Андрей Розендент

Andrey Rozendent is a violinist of exceptional musical talent. He was born in Kaliningrad in 1989. Before 2000, Andrey had studied at the musical school named after R.M. Glier (Kaliningrad) under the guidance of Z.I. Glibka, Honoured worker of culture of the Russian Federation. The young musician performed at the International Conference “New epoche – New Human” in the International Centre of the Roerichs in 2000, dedicated to gifted children, where the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich was one of the organizers. The Andrey Rozendent’s performance did not pass unnoticed and today the gifted violinist is a scholar of the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich and Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.

Andrey participated in master classes of renowned music teachers: Z. Bron, I. Bochkova, and I. Shulman. He studied at the Central Music School under the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory with professor S.I. Kravchenko in 2001-2003.

A. Rozendent is a laureate of the International Competition for Young Musicians in Tallinn (Estonia), a participant of the International Festival “Musical Kremlin 2004”, the International Music Festival in Colmar (France), the Baltic Assembly International Festival “Golden Ferri – 2002” and a participant of the Opening of the First Moscow Paganini International Violin Competition, organized by the Fund of Violin Art.

In 2004 Andrey Rozendent became the first scholar of the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich by the program “Support of talented young people working in the field of arts“. The talented violinist entered the Higher Music School (Wurzburg, Germany) in the same year, where he studied with professor G.E. Zhislin.

He changed it to the class of professor Z. Bron (Higher Music School, Koln, Germany) in 2006.

Andrey Rozendent is one of the few Russian violinists who were twice given the honour of participating in the presentation of legendary violins: Stradivari’s “Empress of Russia” in the Armory of the Moscow Kremlin and Guarneri’s “Leonardo da Vinci” in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.

The young violinist has intense concert programme. He performs very often as a soloist with orchestra in the best concert halls of Russia and also abroad (in France, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Lithuania and etc.).

Andrey Rozendent participated and became a laureate of many international festivals and competitions:

  • 1999 г. — participant of the 1st Russian Junior Delphic Games;
  • 2000 г. — the 1st prize of the International Competition for Young Musicians in Tallinn, Estonia;
  • 2001 г. — participant of the Baltic Sea Region Festival, Sweden;
  • 2001 г. — participant of the Festival for Young Performers "Skambanti banga" (Sounding Wave) in Klaipėda, Lithuania;
  • 2001 г. — participant of the International Music Festival in Colmar, France;
  • 2002 г. — participant of the International Baltic Alliance Festival “Golden Ferri – 2002”
  • 2003 г. — award and prize of Berlin Salon, Saint Petersburg;
  • 2003 г. — participant of the “Russian seasons” at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris, organized by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation;
  • 2004 г. — participant of the International Festival “Musical Kremlin 2004”;
  • 2004 г. — made his debut in V. Mashkov’s film “Papa” (“Dad”), where he played one of the main roles and was awarded with a diploma of the Baltic Debut Film Festival (Svetlogorsk).
  • 2004 г. — participant of the Hanukkah concert at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre;
  • 2005 г. — participant of the 14th Classical Music Festival “Dalnevostochnaya Vesna 2005” (The Spring in the Far East 2005”).
  • 2007 г. — participant of the music evening “Mimiko” at the Dusseldorf Concert Hall, Germany.
  • 2007 г. — participant of the concert “Magic Sound” in Munich, Germany;
  • 2008 г. — rendering of P.I. Tchaikovsky’s concert with orchestra in Aachen, Germany;
  • 2008 г. — won 8 concerts throughout Germany sponsored by the producer company Koncert Kunstler Agentur Jens Gunnar Becker.
