On February 12, 2017, a gala evening entitled “Helena Roerich about Russia” was held at the International Centre of the Roerichs. The event was dedicated to the 138th Anniversary of Helena Roerich's birth. It is the versatile creativity of Helena Roerich that proves that she was a true patriot of Russia who endlessly loved her Motherland and believed in its bright future. 

23.01.2017 Donation for Nicholas Roerich Museum is collected

Dear friends, with your support we collected funds to renovate air handling unit Rozenberg that provides temperature and humidity conditions in the rooms of the 1^st floor of the public Museum named after Nicholas Roerich. The collected sum amounted to 183,000 rubles.

30.12.2016 The book “Children of the New Consciousness” has been published

The International Centre of the Roerichs has published a book “Children of the New Consciousness”. This project has concluded scientific research and educational activity of the Centre over the last 17 years. During this time the organization has collaborated with scientists, teachers and public figures in order to analyze such important issues as new cosmic thinking of modern children.

27.12.2016 The first International Contest of children's drawings “We are children of Cosmos”

Dear friends! The annual International Children's Painting Competition “We are the children of the Cosmos” was established in 2016. The goal of the contest is to attract attention to the moral and spiritual world of children, their ideas of the man and the Cosmos as well as interaction between human beings, our planet, and the Universe.

Contest organizers: the Charitable Foundation by name of Helena Roerich, the International Centre of the Roerichs. Co-organizer: the International Council of Roerich Organizations by name of  S.N. Roerich.

The contest is held with the support of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, the International Association of Peace Foundations, Association of Russian Cosmonautics Museum, Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the International Union of Art Teachers, Charitable Foundation “Sight of a Child”.

In 2017, the theme of the contest is “I live in the Cosmos and the Cosmos lives in me”.

01.11.2016 Nikolai Kuznetsov is the prize winner of the International Competition in Panama

Grant holder of the Foundation, young pianist Nikolai Kuznetsov won the 4th prize at the International competition of pianists, which was held in Panama from the 10th to the 18th of October 2016.

23.10.2016 Luca Okrostsvaridze wins a piano competition in Hong Kong

Pianist Luca Okrostsvaridze, grant holder of the Foundation named after Helena Roerich on the program “Support of young talents in the field of science and art” (2005-2016), won the first prize at the Fourth International competition of pianists in Hong Kong, which was held from the 26th of September to the 13th of October. 42 performers from more than 15 countries participated in the competition.

15.10.2016 Restoration of the last lifetime portrait of Nicholas Roerich

The Public Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Roerich Centre continues to collect funds for the restoration of the last lifetime portrait of Nicholas Roerich.

14.10.2016 The opening of the exhibition “Warrior of Light”, dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of the birth of Lyudmila Shaposhnikova

On October 8, 2016, the exhibition "Warrior of Light", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Lyudmila Shaposhnikova, was opened in the Public Museum by name of Nicholas Roerich of the International Roerich Center. Lyudmila Shaposhnikova was the first president of the Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich, the founder, and director of the Public Museum named after Nicholas Roerich, an outstanding scientist, thinker, public figure, the first vice-president of the International Centre of the Roerichs.

13.10.2016 The third volume of letters by Helena Roerich has been published

The publishing department of the International Centre of the Roerichs issued the third volume of the complete letters of the outstanding Russian thinker, writer and ascetic Helena Roerich from the Department of Manuscripts of the International Centre of the Roerichs. It included letters dated from 1935, addressed mainly to Nicholas and Yuri Roerich, who were in the Manchurian expedition at that time, the members of the Roerich Museum in New York, as well as to the members of the Latvian Roerich Society.

01.10.2016 International Conference “Lyudmila Shaposhnikova: scientist, thinker, public figure. On the 90th anniversary of the birth”

From the 8^th to the 11^th of October 2016 in Moscow, the public Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Centre of the Roerichs will host an international scientific and public conference “Lyudmila Shaposhnikova: scientist, thinker, public figure. On the 90th anniversary of the birth”.

Conference Organizer: the International Centre of the Roerichs.

Co-organizers: the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Russian Academy of Cosmonautics named after Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the Russian Philosophical Society, the Institute of History of Natural Science and Technology named after Sergey Vavilov, the International Association of Peace Foundations, the Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich, the International Committee for the Conservation of the Roerichs heritage.

The conference is held with the support of the UN Information Center in Moscow.

09.08.2016 “The Shadow of Eurydice” is a new book by Daniel Posazhennikov

The publishing house “Biblio-Globus” issued the second book of the young writer and poet Daniel Posazhennikov. The book included poetry and prose.

Daniel is a grant holder of the Foundation named after Helena Roerich, and also a member of the International Writers Association. Many works of the author were translated into English and published in Canada.

03.08.2016 90th Anniversary of the birth of Lyudmila Shaposhnikova

On July 26, 2016, a gala evening dedicated to the 90^th Anniversary of the birth of  Lyudmila Shaposhnikova was held at the Centre-Museum named after Nicholas Roerich. Lyudmila Shaposhnikova (1926-2015) was an outstanding historian, indologist, major philosopher-cosmist, famous CEO of the Museum named after Nicholas Roerich, the first President of the Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich.
