The Charitable Foundation named after Helena Roerich is a non-governmental and non-profit organization without membership. It functions according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation and is financed through voluntary donations and other legal sources of income.
These funds as well as proceeds of cultural activity are used to fulfill the aims and tasks stated in the Charter of the Foundation.
On July 18, 2001, the Foundation was granted a Status of a Charitable Organization (registration certificate No. 310) by Moscow authorities. In July 2004, the certificate was extended till 2007.
